I ranked this team in the #1 spot directly after draft night, knowing they would eventually slide. It’s not just talent. This is the fastest team in the league. They have talent at every position. The slide that we all saw coming is based on attendance. We knew we wouldn’t see much of this team. We didn’t see much of this team last year, so it’s not the end of the world for them. But because we have not seen them, I simply can’t put them in front of any other teams. There’s still some unanswered questions with this roster as well. It would be nice to see them together before game day, or at least some of them.
Justin Oshea and Ken Silver must be having flashbacks to last season. The Roadies were flat out awful on Sunday and it started with Justin and Ken.
Kens time at quarterback can only be described as a complete failure and Justin’s time at quarterback was also horrible at best. Nick Delmonte and Coach Nick Muse seemed to be afterthoughts in the teams boring snoozer of an offense.
This is not what we’ve come to expect of a Shoe led team. Always upbeat, encouraging, engaged, and organized, The Coach seemed checked out.
The Roadies zone defense was also a complete joke. I’ve never seen a Roadies team in this kind of disarray. It may be time for a roster shake up.
The good ole coach had a few curve balls thrown at him on draft night. He also threw a few of his own. Passing on JJ to go with former MVP Renzo was a shock to some experts but to me this was the right move for the franchise. Renzo has showed up to almost every scrimmage so far and been amazing. Last time we saw Renzo this motivated he won a championship.
This list is based on 3 factors. Accounting for 20% is entire career history going back to bowl number 1. Accounting for 60% of the total player grade is last seasons performance. Finally accounting for the final 20% is current weekly performance at this year’s scrimmages. So because scrimmages are ongoing this list will change weekly.
